Get into the Christmas spirit at Voergaard

Christmas at Voergaard has become something of a tradition – a magical gathering place where friends and family meet to get into the Christmas spirit in the castle's historic setting.
The heavy doors of the castle open up into a new world, where the grand halls are adorned with lavish decorations specially created for Voergaard – and roses, roses and more roses! Your senses are piqued from the moment you step through the portal into the magical halls of the castle. The little people of the forest have been at it again, lending a helping hand with the decoration – a combination of woodland mystique and medieval monastery ambience.
Large Christmas trees are adorned with wonderful decorations and in the glow of the many golden lights, the decorations almost outsparkle the castle's precious crystal chandeliers. Floral decorations composed of fresh roses, lilies and orchids, fragrant hyacinths and colourful amaryllis embellish the castle's large vases.
A sensory fusion of music, colour and fragrances and an experience for the whole family. In the castle's banqueting hall, cellars and courtyard there are stalls selling all manner of Christmas decorations, etc., and working workshops. Paradehuset is responsible for the Christmas decorations on sale, just as it is for the decorations used to adorn the castle.
